Performer, director and dance maker, Edoardo Mozzanega after graduating with a Master's degree in Aesthetic Philosophy, attended a MA in London in Dance Professional Practice at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. He studied theatre and dance with teachers such as Cesare Ronconi and Mariangela Gualtieri (Teatro Valdoca), Maria Consagra, Alessio Maria Romano and the Batsheva Dance Company.
His research uses different tools and languages, including theatre, dance, storytelling, video making, somatic practices, to investigate their transformative power in relation to reality, how we perceive and narrate it. This investigation lead him to create different performative forms such as video installations, workshops and performances in theatre and site-specific.
In 2019, in collaboration with other artists, he conceived Neutopica, a project of transdisciplinary artistic residencies with an experimental and collaborative form that take life and space in disused places and marginal areas. His most recent works include Domoscape (2019), SONICA (2023), Dream of a tiger (2023) and Tiger's nap (2024).
