After completing her studies at the Brera Academy and the Civica Scuola di Teatro Paolo Grassi in Milan, Camilla Monga passed auditions at the P.A.R.T.S. Her works are presented in important national and international contexts such as Biennale Danza, Bolzano Danza festival, b.Motion/Operaestate festival, Triennale Teatro, Fabbrica Europa, Dance Umbrella festival London, CND camping Paris, P.A.R.T.S. Bruxelles, Ick Amsterdam.

Musical and choreographic composition are at the heart of the artist's research. Over the years, she has collaborated with sound professionals including Filippo Vignato, Federica Furlani, Marta del Grandi and Emanuele Maniscalco, with whom she has been working since 2020, collecting successes.

Their work Sull'Attimo was selected for Aerowaves, the most important international dance network in Europe. Camilla Monga and Emanuele Maniscalco are the only Italian artists to have been selected for the 2023 edition held in Dublin from 27 to 29 April.

Camilla Monga and the musician Giulia Tagliavia are inspired by the opera Undici pezzi infantili op. 35 by the composer Alfredo Casella to work on a performance in which dance and music are the protagonists.

Riflessi opens with a dancer on stage seemingly imprisoned inside a music box made of shadows and light. Her movement marks the rhythm of the performance.

The performer's shadow, projected onto the backdrop, gives life to a series of mysterious and fascinating characters. Constantly changing figures with lines that are sometimes elegant and at other times grotesque, creating a surreal and suggestive atmosphere.

The interplay between the dancer, the live music and the mysterious shadows offers a performance that explores the boundary between reality and fantasy.
